The Side Stage Lounge at the Homestead Kitchen | Bar is excited to announce a night of dinner theatre. The Side Stage Lounge acting company will bring you two short plays while you enjoy a delicious dinner. Performances will be April 25,26 at 6:30pm and 27 @ 1pm. Theater Tickets are $20 and does not include the cost of dinner. Dinner seating will begin an hour before showtime.

A montage of characters who experience the most important relationships in life: friends, family, and love. Starting with seven classmates, the play explores what they imagine their lives will be, and shows what their lives eventually become. They grow, succeed, and sometimes fail.
GOD OF CARNAGE by Yasmina Reza
God of Carnage is a comedy of manners without the manners. What happens when two sets of parents meet up to deal with the unruly behaviour of their children? A calm and rational debate between grown-ups about the need to teach ids how to behave properly? Or a hysterical night of name-calling, tantrums and tears before bedtime? Boys will be boys, but the adults are usually worse – much worse. In The God of Carnage, a sharp-edged comedy by French playwright Yasmina Reza, a playground altercation between eleven-year-old boys brings together two sets of Brooklyn parents for a meeting to resolve the matter. At first, diplomatic niceties are observed, but as the meeting progresses, and the rum flows, tensions emerge and the gloves come off.
